Practice Schedules
Practices will begin the week of December 1, 2009 and will be held at Manassas Adventist Preparatory School, 8225 Barrett Dr., Manassas, VA 20109. All teams will practice at least twice per week. A detailed schedule for each team will be provided soon, and will be posted on the "Teams" pages.
Tournaments
CHRVA member clubs are located in NoVA, MD, DC, and DE, and one day tournaments [Saturday and/or Sunday] are held in various locations throughout the region. Each team will participate in 4-8 regional tournaments. Schedules will be announced and posted on the "Teams" page once developed. Older teams will also participate in a number of weekend-long tournaments in various locations throughout the east coast (TBD), and overnight travel is required. The players hotel fees for weekend-long tournaments are included in the Club Fees. Chaperones are required for the overnight tournaments, see below.
Parent Involvement and Tournament Chaperones
Parents are an essential component of our successful club! Each team requires a "team parent" to work with the coaches to help coordinate team events, meals, transportation and a variety of other areas. Additionally, 2 Chaperones will be required for each weekend-long travel tournament (TBD), and a hotel room will be provided for the chaperones at the club's expense [one shared room]. If you plan to be involved in any way with a Junior's team or the program, you must be a registered member of CHRVA and submit to the USAV administered background screening process. Details can be found at the CHRVA website: http://www.chrva.org/page/show/102620-welcome-to-the-chrva-juniors-site
